We have been asked to arrange 2 engagement sessions for parent carers to meet virtually with Steve Buckerfield (Sutton Council), TerryClark, Head of Commissioning & Health Integration & James Holden (South West London Clinical Commissioning Group)

Together, Health and Sutton Council commission therapy for approximately 2,000 children and young people; Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Dietetics services provide critical support for some of our most vulnerable young residents. The Council and the CCG are reviewing these services to ensure they achieve the best outcomes, reach the right children and young people early enough and provide value for money.

Parents and carers’ views, priorities and experience of receiving these NHS and Cognus services are a key part of the review. We very much hope that you will feel able to share your experiences, both good and challenging, so that together we can continue to improve support for young people across Sutton.   As always, it would be helpful to have some questions in advance. if possible
